My philosophy is that you have the capacity and experience within you to reach your goals. I understand life can get overwhelming and roadblocks may seem insurmountable. I am prepared to provide a supportive environment and clinical skills to assist you to function better with an improved sense of well-being. Clinically, I hold a wholistic and culturally competent approach with empathy at the core. Additionally, I believe everyone is unique and will tailor treatment specific to you to promote hope, healing, and restoring. It should also be noted that I am a Therapist Associate. As such, I will have a Clinical Supervisor overseeing the care I provide. I look forward to working together with you.
As a Black woman, I hold a unique perspective of culture and mental health. I know firsthand, the disparities people of color navigate with our current system. My goal has been to close the divide by offering representation and a sense of belonging. I have witnessed the power of having shared experiences in a clinical setting. Additionally, I have walked with people with varying backgrounds and experiences different from my own. I have worked with individuals experiencing an array of mental health symptoms including depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, bipolar, psychosis, adjustment concerns, grief, and much more.
